The men's basketball team in West Virginia was left out of the NCAA tournament field, and the Mountainers squad is “with broken heart” over the perceived Snub and says you are better than some teams that made the cut!
The WVU hoped after it had ended the season 19-13 (with a 10-10 record in the Big 12)-even well, even expected to hear their names during the selection show on Sunday, but it didn't happen and they are crushed.
“With a broken heart for @wvuhoops,” said Ad Wren Baker after the show. “I can't understand that this team is left out.”

“Let us gather these young men,” said Baker, “and let them know how proud we are on you!”
The team's trainer, Darian DevriesHis disappointment also shared and said … “Obviously we are extremely shocked, sad and disappointed that we were not selected for the NCAA tournament. We firmly believe that we have a Résumé that is worthy of a NCAA tournament team.”
Like Baker, Devries praised his team.
“I am incredibly proud of this team and what you have achieved. You poured your hearts into the season and all of your collective efforts to the NCAA tournament, and I believe that you did it.”
