The 76ers forward of Philadelphia, Paul George, will miss the rest of the season after receiving injections in groin and knee injuries, according to reports.
Shams Charania de ESPN George, 34, is expected to be out for at least six weeks, which means that he will not participate in the remaining 15 philadelphia games that extend until April 13.
The Sixers are ready to miss this season's playoffs in the middle of a miserable campaign that has left them down in 12th place at the Eastern Conference.
George has not appeared for the team since March 4 after, according to reports, he took pain injections for five consecutive games at the beginning of the season.
The Nine-Star of the NBA averaged 16.2 points and 5.3 rebounds per game in 41 appearances this season, the first with Philadelphia after opting for the player's option in his contract of $ 48.7 million with the Clippers and becoming a free agent last year.
