The players, coaches and directors of Chelsea have been contacted personally with Wesley Fofana to offer their support to the defender after being subjected to racial abuse after Sunday's loss at Arsenal.
The Premier League club says in a statement that they are “horrified and disgusted” in the online orientation of their stars, with the 24 -year -old Frenchman the last to receive messages on social networks.
Chelsea contacted Instagram about abuse and asked them to accelerate the elimination of sick messages, which target, saying in a statement: 'Chelsea Football Club is horrified and disgusted by the recent increase in racial abuse online to our players.
'Abuse Wes Fofana has undergone yesterday's accessory is abhorrent and will not be tolerated.
'Wes and all our players have our full support. We will work with the relevant authorities to identify the perpetrators and take the strongest possible action.
