Video of Arkansas' Fernando Carmona 'playing dirty football' resurfaces amid CJ Baskerville outrage

While Fernando Carmona is in the spotlight for a “disgusting” act during Friday's bowl game against Texas Tech, video of a past “dirty” play by the Arkansas offensive lineman has resurfaced.

During the first quarter of a November game against Ole Miss, Taylen Green fumbled in the Arkansas end zone.

Carmona and Rebels defensive lineman Jared Ivey were the closest to the fumble for their respective teams, with Ivey getting to the ball a split second before the controversial Razorback.

While Ivey tries to secure the ball, Carmona doesn't go for the pigskin. Instead, Carmona grabs Ivey's arm and twists it behind his body.

The play ended with Ivey's teammate, Princely Umanmielen, landing the ball for the touchdown.

However, the resurfacing of the video has only added fuel to the fire of those who want Carmona banned for what he did to Texas Tech's CJ Baskerville.

A video of a past 'dirty' play by the Arkansas lineman from last month has resurfaced.

Footage shows the moment players try to get back on their feet after a six-yard run by Braylen Russell with Carmona, the team captain, standing on top of the pile.

Texas Tech player CJ Baskerville can be seen lying on the ground, apparently still on the ground after making a tackle.

It is at this moment that Carmona can be seen intentionally stomping on the Baskerville player's ankle, pushing all his weight towards the opponent's leg.

The player can then be seen writhing in pain on the ground, although the referees did not appear to see it.

A furious Baskerville posted two videos of the incident on

'But Fernando Carmona's number 55, blatantly stepping on my ankle and putting pressure on it on purpose, is totally dirty.

'Keep saying “I have your bitch.” Do it better @RazorbackFB.'

Arkansas has not commented publicly on the incident, opting to upload several photos of players holding the Liberty Bowl trophy following a 39-26 victory.
