Sky Sports presenter Abigail Davies was forced to apologize after Michael van Gerwen swore in his post-match interview following his victory over Chris Dobey at the World Darts Championship.
Three-time world champion Van Gerwen thrashed Dobey 6-1 to book his place in the final at Alexandra Palace.
And speaking to Davies after his victory, Van Gerwen said he had “already won everything”, in response to a question about where he would qualify if he triumphed in tomorrow's final.
“We will have to apologize for the language used,” said Davies as the Dutchman shrugged.
Van Gerwen was in excellent form in the semi-final as he defeated 15th seed Dobey to reach a seventh world final.
