The suburban Albuquerque home made famous in Breaking Bad is now on the market… and the owners want big money from Walter White for the property.
The 1,900-square-foot, four-bedroom, one-bathroom home with central air conditioning and a swimming pool has an estimated Zillow price of $343,000 — but given the property's fame thanks to the AMC series, the current owners are looking for a cool $4 million .
Listing Agent David Christensen tells TMZ … one day in 2006, the family that has lived in the New Mexico home since 1973 got a knock on the door that changed their lives forever. The producers of a new series wanted to use her home for a pilot episode – and the rest is history.
Built in 1972, the house remains a big draw for fans of the series – the series is about a high school teacher turned meth kingpin Bryan Cranston And Aaron Paul – and the owners estimate about 300 cars a day drive by to take a look.
Since the series concluded in 2013, the property has been fenced off. That's because fans threw pizzas at the property in homage to an iconic scene.
In one episode, in a fit of rage, Walter throws a pizza that lands on the roof of the house, and so Knuckleheads kept trying to recreate the moment – so much so that the show's creator had to chastise fans in 2015 by telling them to stop grow up and be respectful!
DC tells TMZ … the gates were installed four years ago … but overall since the show ended, most passersby have been polite and respectful of the owners and property.
