Fresh from their road trip to Queensland, Nathan Cleary and Mary Fowler shared a few more snaps of what they've been up to over the festive period.
Last week the Australian sporting power couple was seen enjoying a road trip to Far North Queensland with some of Fowler's family.
The group, made up of some of Fowler's siblings, went on a hike through a forested area before sitting by a stream and playing with the family dog. They were also seen stopping for a photo at Big Mango, just outside Bowen.
While they have been catching up with family and friends over Christmas, it seems the Manchester City star and the Penrith Panther back have been enjoying some alone time, with the pair appearing to jet off for a romantic beach holiday to Whitsundays.
Fowler is currently on a winter break from football, and the Matildas star, who has scored two goals in all competitions in his last four appearances for the Cityzens, will return on Monday, January 13 to face Ipswich.
Meanwhile, Cleary is currently undergoing rehabilitation after undergoing surgery on a shoulder injury that has troubled the Penrith ace for most of last season.
Mary Fowler and Nathan Cleary took to Instagram to share snaps from their latest holiday over the Christmas period.
After the couple went on a road trip with some of Fowler's family, they also enjoyed a beach getaway in the Whitsundays.
Cleary's recovery from shoulder surgery will take three to four months to complete.
His recovery will take three to four months to complete, and Cleary has already removed the sling. The 27-year-old also recently revealed that he had been eating sea moss to regain his fitness as soon as possible.
On Sunday, both Fowler and Cleary shared snaps on their Instagram accounts, with the NRL player making a comment many Penrith fans will be happy to hear.
He wrote: “The batteries are charged.”
Fowler's Instagram caption read, “Cute vacation photos she took,” prompting Cleary to respond in the comments.
He seemed to joke: “The last one is just immaculate,” referencing a photo of Fowler asleep during a flight.
It has been a whirlwind few years for both stars, with Cleary leading the Panthers to four consecutive premierships.
Fowler, meanwhile, opted out of the Matildas' recent home matches against Brazil and Chinese Taipei, citing his physical and mental well-being as a reason for stepping away from the national team.
Fowler also enjoyed a busy start to the 2024-25 season, making 17 appearances for City in the WSL and Women's Champions League.
Fowler will return to action next week when Man City return to WSL action against Ipswich after their winter break.
Fowler captioned her post: 'The cute vacation photos she took' and posted several photos of her and Cleary during their break.
The couple posted several photos of each other enjoying a walk on the coast, while sharing a photo of the couple going for coffee on the beach.
Cleary was photographed lounging in a hammock, while Fowler stopped to pose for a photo on a hill facing the setting sun.
The sporty duo are understood to have been dating since November 2023 and were recently photographed enjoying a hike up to Burleigh Heads, before stopping to enjoy the view of Tallebudgera Creek.
After Cleary clinched his fourth consecutive Premiership title with the Panthers in October, he flew to the UK to spend time with Fowler, and the pair were photographed for the first time at the Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford.
Cleary and Fowler would enjoy multiple trips around Europe, including a getaway to Mallorca, before Cleary returned to undergo shoulder surgery.
And with the NRL season fast approaching, Cleary recently revealed how his recovery has been progressing.
“It's a three or four month recovery, so it's been good so far.” I went back to training yesterday (Thursday) and it's been going well so far,” Cleary told NewsWire.
'I'm slowly ticking the boxes and then it will start to ramp up after Christmas. I'm a little ahead of schedule, which is great.
“There are a few guys at the club who have returned from shoulder surgery and they are all doing very well. We are all progressing well together.”
