Former Liverpool star Sadio Mane has revealed how many children he would like to have with his wife Aisha Tamba.
Mane, who plays for Al-Nassr in the Saudi Pro League, married Tamba in an Islamic ceremony on January 7, 2024 in Keur Massar, a suburb of the capital city of Dakar.
Aisha was 18 when she married and had met the Senegalese international two years earlier through family connections.
Much has been made of the age difference between the couple, given that Mane was 31 years old when he married Tamba.
However, Tamba's parents did nothing but support the union and called Mane a “good person” who comes from a “humble family.”
A year after his wedding, Mane has revealed that he would like to have three or four children with his wife.

talking to SenepeopleplusMane said: 'Funny question. If it's just a choice, I'd say 3 or 4. Except it's God who decides and I'll thank Him no matter what.'
When asked if he would be open to having more children, specifically seven or eight, Mane laughed before saying “maybe, you never know.”
The 32-year-old star added: “Whatever the number is, I'll take it.” I'm leaning more towards 3 or 4 and we'll see the rest.'
Mane is believed to have first met Tamba when she was 16, with her father revealing the star first saw her “more than two years” before the wedding.
Tamba's father said: 'My wife and Aisha visited her (Mane's) family one day, and this is where he met her for the first time.
'He (Mane) probably saw something special in her and her parents liked her too. They came to see me.
'We argued according to tradition, we agreed on everything and we hoped this day would happen. They weren't dating because Aisha was still young.
Her father did not give a precise date for when he first spoke to Aisha about marrying Mane, but said he never had any doubts that she would not accept.
Former Liverpool star Mane is currently playing in Saudi Arabia after moving to Al-Nassr last year.
According to reports, the marriage was agreed upon when she was still in school and the decision was made to wait until she was 18 years old to be able to finish her studies.
Mane had reportedly been funding Aisha's education at the Cabis girls' school in Mbao, a town on the outskirts of Dakar.
Aisha reportedly earned her diploma with acceptable distinction, and Mane and her father congratulated her on her success.
Senenews reported that Aisha is now considering moving on to higher education after earning her bachelor's degree.
Mane and his new wife are originally from the Casmance region of Senegal, which is located in the south of the country and about 440 miles from Dakar.
The couple belongs to the same Sosse ethnic group, speak the same native language and share the same values.
