Marcus Rashford's representatives have held talks with AC Milan as the Italian giants target a loan move for the Manchester United striker in the January transfer window.
AC Milan's interest in Rashford was revealed earlier this month, after the striker admitted he could seek a new challenge away from Man United.
Rashford's brother and agent Dwaine Maynard was in Milan on Tuesday to talk to the newly crowned Italian Super Cup winners.
Further talks are expected with AC Milan regarding the possibility of signing Rashford.
Borussia Dortmund is Rashford's other big suitor, while Juventus and Galatasaray are also interested.
AC Milan currently sit in eighth place in Serie A and have struggled to score goals this season.

AC Milan have become the leading candidates to secure a deal for Rashford this month.
Rashford admitted last month that he is looking for a “new challenge” away from Manchester United.
The Italian giants' problems led to the departure of coach Paulo Fonesca last month, with Sergio Conceicao since taking charge.
Conceicao led AC Milan to a 3-2 victory over city rivals Inter in the Italian Super Cup on Monday, with England international Tammy Abraham scoring the winning goal in added time.
Rashford's former Manchester United teammate Zlatan Ibrahimovic is a key figure at AC Milan, with the 43-year-old serving as a senior advisor to the club's ownership.
Ideally, United want to sell him for £40m and that figure, plus his salary of more than £325,000 a week, are the main obstacle.
United will consider loan offers with an obligation to buy and several clubs have expressed interest.
Rashford has rejected approaches from Saudi Arabia and wants to remain in Europe to advance his career in England.
His preferred destination was Spain but it is unlikely that that option will open until summer and would depend on his performance during the second half of the season.

United are desperate to offload players to help Amorim get players more suited to their system. A striker and a left-back are considered priorities, but are hamstrung by PSR guidelines as they have spent heavily on Erik ten Hag.
Amorim left Rashford out of the squads for four consecutive matchdays last month, before returning to the bench against Newcastle last week.
The 27-year-old was absent from Man United's 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday at Anfield due to illness.
