The Russian model linked to Chelsea winger Mykhailo Mudryk has taken to Instagram to deny reports of a new romance with Juventus star Weston McKennie after she allegedly dumped the Ukrainian.

Mudryk, 24, is currently suspended from playing football after it was confirmed last month that he had tested positive for the banned substance Meldonium.

He denied any wrongdoing and promised to prove his innocence, but has not played for Chelsea since November.

Meanwhile, Mudryk has been linked to Russian fitness model Violetta Bert, although they have never made their romance public.

However, following initial reports from Game, Set & Match that Bert had moved on, the internet star denied that she is in a new relationship with the American.

Following reports that Bert and McKennie went on a getaway together, with both posting photos from popular French ski resort Courchevel, Bert showed off a handwritten card he had received, which curiously concealed the sender's name.

Bert is believed to have gone on a skiing holiday with Weston McKennie (pictured), who spent the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Leeds United.

The card said: 'Enjoy baby, love. Merry christmas.'

The name on the card appears to be “Weston” but Bert has since taken to his social media account, which has 779,000 followers, to deny links to the American.

“Information for false rumors,” he posted. 'I didn't leave anyone and I'm not dating anyone!

'And I have never confirmed any relationship!'

Bert shared snaps from his recent holiday, while McKennie also shared photos from a very similar location before deleting them from her account.

Mudryk and McKennie were once Premier League rivals, with the latter spending the second half of the 2022-23 season on loan at Leeds United.

McKennie has since returned to his parent club Juventus, first joining the Italian giants on an initial loan from Schalke in 2020.

Meanwhile, Mudryk joined Chelsea in a deal worth £88m in January 2023, and much was expected of the Ukrainian star.

But he has failed to live up to expectations and was largely limited to substitute appearances in the early months of the season under Enzo Maresca.

Now he cannot fit into the Italian's plans, since he has been banned from playing after failing an anti-doping test.

After his positive test was announced, Mudryk posted on Instagram: “I can confirm that I have been notified that a sample I provided to the FA contained a banned substance.

“This has come as a complete shock, as I have never knowingly used banned substances or broken any rules, and I am working closely with my team to investigate how this could have happened.

'I know I haven't done anything wrong and I hope to get back on the field soon. I can't say anything more now due to the confidentiality of the process, but I will do so as soon as I can.'

Mudryk also received backing from Maresca, who told reporters last month: “We support and trust Misha.”

'Trusting means we believe Misha. We support Misha and then see. We are all sad. “Me, the club, the players, we are all there.”

But Mudryk no longer seems to have Bert by his side after his decision to start a new relationship with another footballer.
