President-elect Donald Trump stokes the flames of division amid the massive wildfires burning in Los Angeles… and publishes a scathing criticism of California's governor Gavin Newsom.
Trump jumped on his Truth Social platform on Wednesday and placed the blame for the raging wildfires squarely on Newsom, accusing him of choosing an endangered fish over much-needed water resources for firefighting.
Trump began his tongue-lashing by once again calling the government “newscum” … before claiming that Gavin had “refused” to sign a declaration allowing water from Northern California to flow to areas “currently on burning in an almost apocalyptic manner”. ” Trump said Newsom favors the Delta smelt over the people of California … and that he will change all that once he takes office on January 20.
Now an actor James Woods — one of the many celebrities affected by the out-of-control fires — Trump agrees that Newsom and the mayor of LA Karen Bass are to blame for the natural disaster.
Up to 30,000 people have been evacuated due to fires that broke out in the LA area on Tuesday – including celebrities who live there Pacific Palisades Neighborhood, some of them have lost their homes — Mandy Moore was too evacuated from their home overnight due to another fire near Pasadena, and Whitney Cummings evacuated from the same area this morning. Two people died in this fire – their causes of death were not disclosed.
We have reached out to a representative for Governor Newsom…no response yet.
