Nottingham Forest inquire about Douglas Luiz loan; The former Aston Villa midfielder is also offered to clubs in Manchester and Fulham

  • Luiz left Villa for Juventus in the summer but has struggled to adapt to the team.
  • Could be ready to return to the Premier League, with Forest leading the race
  • Hear It's all starting! Jack Grealish will not be allowed to roam at Man City… will be sold this summer if things don't change

Nottingham Forest have inquired about the loan deal for Juventus midfielder Douglas Luiz.

The 26-year-old has also been approached by Manchester United, City and Fulham, with Juventus ideally looking to recoup the £21m they paid Aston Villa in the summer.

Luiz, who plays for the same club as his girlfriend, Alisha Lehmann, has played just 13 times for Juventus this season and could already be on the verge of leaving the club.

He played 204 times for Aston Villa and was previously linked with a move to Arsenal when he was in the Midlands, although nothing materialized and he remained at the club, helping them qualify for the Champions League.

His summer departure was something of a surprise, but Villa replaced him with their Amadou Onana.

Now, however, he could join Forest, who sit third in the Premier League table and are making a strong push to finish in European qualifying places, potentially the Champions League.

United, meanwhile, would be looking for another midfielder as Casemiro is expected to join Al Nassr and Christian Eriksen could still leave.

United's priority is to add a striker with Paris St Germain's Randal Kolo Muani as an option.

Meanwhile, winger Amad Diallo is expected to sign his new contract on Friday.

The striker has been one of the stars of Ruben Amorim's reign, earning a place in the first team and scoring his sixth goal of the season in the 2-2 draw against Liverpool on Sunday.
