First responders can eat well after a long day battling the Los Angeles fires… because his Beverly Hills hot spot is handing out free food to emergency responders.
TMZ has learned… Spago – owned by a chef and restaurateur Wolfgang Puck – in Beverly Hills is distributing food to first responders all weekend.
If you don't know… Spago is a high-end restaurant – one that usually hosts stars How Taylor Swift, Kanye West and lots of celebrities Awards ceremony after parties.
The food is top notch…and for the next few days first responders can get anything they want – everything is covered by the restaurant.
Wolfgang has already released a statement about the fires, thanking all first responders for their courage and sending a heartfelt message to the victims of the fire.
Other restaurants are also open to help first responders… including The Abbey, another well-known LA eatery.
Los Angeles is currently virtually surrounded by fires… with the Pacific Palisades Fire in West LA and the Eaton Fire near Pasadena on the city's east side causing most of the damage. A third fire – the Hurst Fire – is burning at the top of the San Fernando Valley.
We were also told that Commerce Casino and Hotel is offering a $99 hotel rate to first responders.
The Palisades Fire has burned more than 17,000 acres, the Eaton Fire has burned more than 10,000 acres… and all available first responders are doing what they can to put out the fires.
