Just like in the Premier League, the Cherries were at their best to defeat West Brom and book their place in the Fourth Round.
Caleb Taylor's stunning first goal for the Baggies was canceled out by a brace from Dango Ouattara and goals from Justin Kluivert, Antoine Semenyo and Daniel Jebbison.
This extends Bournemouth's unbeaten run to nine games and no one will want to face Andoni Iraola's team in the next phase.
“First of all, I wanted to win, whether I played well or not,” Iraola said.
“We didn't panic when we conceded the first goal. The forwards played very well and I'm very happy.
“A lot of players have played in positions that probably aren't the strongest and they've all helped us.”
Bournemouth beat West Brom 5-1 to advance to the fourth round of the FA Cup on Saturday.
The Baggies opened the scoring through Caleb Taylor but were blown away by the Cherries.
Dango Ouattara's double before half-time helped the Cherries overturn an initial 1-0 deficit.
Coachless West Brom took the lead when Taylor pounced on a loose ball to score after Grady Diangana had first headed a John Swift free-kick against the crossbar.
But Bournemouth only trailed for 13 minutes. Kluivert equalized when David Brooks' low cross evaded everyone to allow the Dutchman to slide in at the far post and score into the roof of the net.
The hosts were in control at half-time and took the lead with Kluivert, this time the architect, cutting down the left flank and sliding a pass to Dango Ouattara to score from a tight angle.
Then, on the stroke of half-time, Ouattara added his second, Bournemouth's third after a strong run and a pass from Brooks left him with only Joe Wildsmith to beat.
Iraola brought on the influential Antoine Semenyo at half-time and scored with almost his first touch, slotting a pass from Brooks into the roof of the net, to take the game beyond West Brom.
With seconds remaining, substitute Daniel Jebbison scored his first goal for Bournemouth, latching onto a pass from Semenyo and scoring with a tap-in from Wildsmith.
Interim manager Chris Brunt said: “It's disappointing to lose such a tough defeat.” We started the game very well, we went ahead by a goal and that was the worst thing that could have happened to us.
“I think the goal after the break is absolutely killer but overall you could tell they had more in the tank in the second half. It was pretty comfortable for them,” he said.
West Brom interim manager Chris Brunt admitted his disappointment at the heavy 5-1 defeat.
