NFL legend surprises fans by jumping into moving helicopter in incredible 'Special Forces' TV moment

NFL legend Cam Newton wowed his castmates and surprised fans by jumping into a moving helicopter from a boat during a recent episode of Fox's hit reality show 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test.'

Newton is one of 16 contestants on the military training-based competition show, and many of his castmates come from sports backgrounds.

Each of the contestants was given the same difficult task of jumping from a moving ship to a nearby helicopter.

Newton makes the jump and latches onto one of the helicopter's landing skids, quickly raising his right arm for more leverage.

When Newton makes the jump, his co-stars gasped and were impressed by his athleticism.

—Did you see the Heli swing? Carey Hart, a former motocross champion, said of the drive Newton put into the jump.

Newton swings his left leg and arm up the side of the helicopter with near ease before settling into the passenger seats and pulling himself to safety.

After Newton settles on board, he begins to scream with excitement, before one of the military officers helping him execute the challenge calms him down.

Newton silently seems satisfied with himself for having accomplished the task.

'Should Cam Lowkey become an action movie star?' asked one of his fans with his 'Mission: Impossible' style maneuver.

'The way he stood up, he's not a small guy. That shit was awesome,” another person said.

Newton is on the show that will air for five weeks leading up to the Super Bowl along with fellow former NFL receiver Golden Tate.
