New footage shows what Manuel Ugarte and Lisandro Martínez did to Kai Havertz after Altay Bayindir saved Martin Odegaard's penalty on Sunday.
Arsenal entertained Manchester United in the FA Cup third round at the Emirates, with the Red Devils securing their place in the next round on penalties after a thrilling encounter.
Bruno Fernandes had given United the lead early in the second half before disaster struck when Diogo Dalot was sent off after receiving a second yellow card.
Gabriel leveled the score thanks to a deflected shot and Arsenal had the chance to turn things around when Harry Maguire was found guilty of fouling Kai Havertz in the penalty area despite replays showing minimal contact.
After the penalty was awarded, there was a big scuffle between both teams and Havertz fell to the ground clutching his head after a collision with Manuel Ugarte.
United substitute stopper Bayindir made an impressive save from Odegaard's penalty and new footage, which was not picked up by the BBC at the time, shows Ugarte, alongside Lisandro Martínez, renewing their rivalry with the German.
New footage not shown on the BBC reveals what Manuel Ugarte and Lisandro Martínez did to Kai Havertz after Altay Bayindir saved Martin Odegaard's penalty on Sunday.
United won the match 5-3 on penalties after an exciting and dramatic encounter.
After Bayindir made a save and tried to pick up the loose ball, Martínez gave Havertz a shove.
Bayindir had parried Odegaard's attempt, before collecting the loose ball, and several players ran to follow.
One of them was Havertz, but when Bayindir collected the ball, Martínez was seen giving the striker a push, before Ugarte ran onto the German's back.
This angered Havertz as he tried to defend himself, until the situation finally calmed down.
The incident apparently went undetected by referee Andy Madley as all three players escaped any action, while replays were not shown on the BBC.
Ugarte also escaped any punishment for his initial contact with Havertz, which saw the German fall to the ground, and without VAR in action in the third round, no further action was taken.
Havertz, who had missed several opportunities during the clash, missed the decisive penalty in the shootout, when Bayindir saved his second penalty of the match.
Meanwhile, speaking after United's victory, manager Ruben Amorim praised his team after they triumphed 5-3 in the penalty shoot-out following a battling display.
“(The victory) was really important because it gives us more strength, and then, with one player down, it's very difficult to put pressure on him,” he said.
While Havertz tried to react to the Argentine's play, Manuel Ugarte also pushed him.
Havertz tried to square both stars, but referee Andy Madley took no action.
Their altercation came after Havertz fell earlier after confronting Ugarte.
“It is very difficult to pressure a team like Arsenal with 11 players, imagine with 10 players, and then you are at a disadvantage, it is very difficult because they can control the ball.
'They were already controlling the ball in many moments. So it was vital to win the game, tie it.”
United return to action on Thursday when they host Southampton, while Arsenal host arch-rivals Tottenham on Wednesday.
