The brother of a Man United star has opened up about the downsides of being linked to one of the country's most famous footballers.
Many would imagine that having a famous brother would be nothing but beneficial; However, it actually comes with its own set of unique challenges.
From being the target of his own footballing efforts to hearing criticism of his brother, Ricardo Fernandes, brother of United captain Bruno, spoke about his unique situation.

The Roffey captain admitted that people tend to think that he has been given everything, due to his relationship with Bruno, but that is not the case.
“People tend to think, 'Oh, he's got this and that because of his brother,' but my partner and I have earned it all ourselves,” she said. But I am very proud of Bruno. I think he always watched me growing up. We have a five-year age difference and he liked to come play with me and my teammates.
'I had to take care of him. I didn't want my friends to kick my brother if he was bothering them! I think that's how he developed his strong mentality, playing against older opponents.
“When I was young, my friends and close family probably thought I was the brother who was going to make it, but I didn't and he did.”
In addition to his efforts on the football field, Ricardo also works for the NHS.
He has been by his brother Bruno's side throughout his professional career, which began with Novara in Italy's Serie B when he was just 17 years old.
His early career in Italy saw him ply his trade with Udinese before his loan spell with Sampdoria became permanent, showing his potential in Serie A.
