NFL fans are rallying around a Packers fan after a shocking clip shows her being harassed at an Eagles game.

The public wasn't exactly surprised to see some foul-mouthed Philadelphia Eagles fans direct a profane rant at an unworthy Green Bay Packers supporter in a viral video on Sunday.

The city is less known for “Brotherly Love,” as its nickname implies, than for the noisy minority of belligerent residents who plague local sporting events.

But Sunday's viral video, in which an Eagles fan attacks a woman wearing a Packers hat, crossed the line for many and now there is an online effort to help identify the culprit.

'What it's like to go to Philly just trying to support your team,' Packers fan Alejandro Basara he captioned the video in X. 'Unprovoked, unnecessarily. Packers Twitter, help me and find this guy…this is not right. “I hate that this happened to my (fiancee) just cheering for her team.”

The incident took place on the upper deck of Lincoln Financial Field as the Eagles cruised to a 22-10 victory over the visiting Packers in the wild-card round of the NFL Playoffs. A man with a gray beard and an Eagles jacket is seen harassing the visiting Packers fan, who visibly attempts to ignore the man.

At one point, the Eagles fan refers to her as a 'dumb moron,' prompting the confrontation with Basara, who was recording the incident.

Basara's fiancée did not seem hurt by the man's words and instead began to mock him.

“Okay, don't call her an idiot,” Basara replied, showing impressive restraint.

“She's an ugly, dumb bitch,” the Eagles fan snapped. 'Are you going to do something?'

Basara's fiancée did not seem hurt by the man's words.

'I am ugly; “I'm really hurt,” she said, pretending to cry and then telling Basara that the Eagles fan “looks like a fucking idiot.”

Although the unidentified man seemed to instigate everything, he felt compelled to tell Basara to “shut up” and “turn around and watch the game.”

The online response was overwhelming.

In total, Basara received more than 8,000 comments, many of which condemned the unidentified Eagles fan.

“I'm sorry this happened, someone should have reported this as verbal abuse and kicked him out of the stadium,” one person wrote. “I've been to over 15 road games as a fan and I've never seen anything this bad, but I only went to Philadelphia once when I was 10, so I wasn't harassed.”

“Respect to you, Alexander,” another fan added. 'If that were my wife, I'd probably walk away in handcuffs. Switching seats with her might have been a smart move too, but I take my hat off to you for staying calm under the circumstances.

Basara claims that the man “was doing this shit the entire game.”

“The family and friends who simply allow this to happen are equally guilty in my eyes,” one fan added. “Ban the entire crew for life.”

Surprisingly, the fan seemed to be wearing a wedding ring in the video, which caught Basara's attention.

“Just realized he's… MARRIED,” Basara wrote on X. “Wonder if his wife knows what he's saying to a woman half his age at Eagles games.”
