Donald Trump's granddaughter Kai reveals why she is 'stressed' ahead of his inauguration

Kai Trump admits she's “a little stressed” ahead of her grandfather's inauguration next week as she hasn't yet picked out an outfit for the big day.

President-elect Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 20 at the Capitol, just over two months since his resounding election victory over Kamala Harris.

And as she prepares to attend the seismic event, Trump's 17-year-old granddaughter Kai has revealed she is a little anxious after leaving planning her outfit to the last minute.

In a video on her YouTube channel, the aspiring golfer said: 'Normally I don't get nervous about certain things, but the opening… I'm not nervous, I'm just like excited. I have butterflies in my stomach like I'm looking forward to it.

“But I'm a little stressed that I didn't pick an outfit ahead of time and now I'm like, 'Oh! At the last minute, I have to go to the dry cleaners.”

“But other than that, honestly, I'm not that stressed.”

President-elect Donald Trump's swearing-in ceremony is scheduled for Jan. 20 at the Capitol.

Trump will be sworn in as president for the second time in the presence of former American leaders and their spouses, including Barack Obama, George W. Bush and Bill Clinton.

Laura Bush and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton will join their husbands at the ceremony at the Capitol, but Michelle Obama will not attend for reasons that remain unclear.

Either way, it will mark a historic day for the Trump family when Donald once again takes control of the White House after his landslide victory in the polls in November.

And Kai can't wait to see his grandfather rule the country again.

“I'm very happy that he won, obviously,” he added later in the video. 'For the United States and I think for our family, I think it is very important that he won.

'I think these next four years will be the best four years America has had in a long time.

“I'm very happy for him inside. I'm very happy that our family can do this again.”
