Charlie Woods couldn't contain his laughter after watching his father make a comical mistake during his TGL debut on Tuesday night.
Woods is the co-founder of golf's high-tech revolution, along with Rory McIlroy, and this week it was the 49-year-old's turn to play in Florida.
His Jupiter Links team, which also included Max Homa and Kevin Kisner, suffered a tough 12-1 loss to a Los Angeles team consisting of Sahith Theegala, Collin Morikawa and Justin Rose.
And the omens were not good already on the second hole. On the 582-yard par five, Woods made an approach from 101 yards.
But the 1,500 spectators watched as his shot sailed over the bottom of the green and into the water.
Woods looked at the ground, then at the simulator screen, before cameras captured his son's amused reaction.
Charlie Woods couldn't contain his laughter after seeing his father make a comical mistake
The 49-year-old made his TGL debut as part of Jupiter Links Golf Club on Tuesday.
As most of the crowd sighed and howled in disappointment, the 15-year-old could be seen laughing and pointing at his father.
Later that night, Woods Sr. also laughed after teammate Kisner made a terrible mistake from the sand.
On the penultimate hole, during his singles match against Collin Morikawa, Kisner found himself in the greenside bunker.
But he adjusted his shot and watched it fly into the flagpole, prompting a hilarious reaction from his teammates.
Homa ducked in panic as the ball bounced into the air, while Woods doubled over in a fit of laughter.
