The Canadian left-back's contract with the Bundesliga giants expires in the summer and talks over an extension have long stalled.
Davies is now free to negotiate with clubs outside of Germany, with Real Madrid the favorite to get him a free transfer at the end of the season.
The outlet claims that there has been no progress in Davies' contract negotiations with Bayern, and Madrid are confident that he will instead sign a deal with them.
Davies joined Bayern in 2018 and has made 218 appearances for the club and scored 12 goals.
