Borussia Dortmund have reportedly increased their interest in Manchester United star Marcus Rashford.
Rashford, 27, admitted in a bombshell interview last month that he is ready to leave his boyhood club and has not played under Ruben Amorim since.
The England international has only been part of the one-match squad over the last month and is now being linked with a possible move abroad.
While AC Milan and Barcelona have been linked with a move for the Red Devils winger, German side Borussia Dortmund appear to be stepping up their pursuit.
According to a German media imageNuri Sahin's side are desperate to bring in reinforcements in January after a dismal first half of their campaign.
They currently sit 10th in the Bundesliga and, after selling Donyell Malen to Aston Villa, are now interested in bringing in Rashford during the window.

The German team wants to strengthen its attack after a disappointing season so far
The outlet claims that there have been considerable discussions at the German club about a possible loan for the striker.
Last season, Dortmund secured a short-term loan for Jadon Sancho after he similarly fell out of favor with Red Devils bosses.
However, despite Dortmund's apparent interest in Rashford, the outlet further claims that the team would prefer a move for Brentford winger Kevin Schade.
The 22-year-old, who previously played in the Bundesliga with Freiburg before moving to west London, was a name on their radar but no move has materialised.
In the event that they are unable to secure a move for Schade, Dortmund will turn their attention to United star Rashford.
However, AC Milan advisor Zlatan Ibrahimovic recently confirmed his team's efforts to sign Rashford, saying: “I know Marcus well, I played with him when I was young.
'It's not an easy operation, but we haven't spoken to him yet. We'll see if we talk to him.'
However, the club will have to make a decision on which England star they want to bring in, due to some Serie A registration rules, having also registered their interest in Kyle Walker.
The club only has one place left in its squad for a British player after the change in regulations after Brexit.
The restrictions say Italian teams can only bring two non-EU team members each year, with one extra English or Albanian ace allowed.
Rashford has expressed his desire to undertake a new challenge away from Manchester United
Last season, Dortmund secured the loan of United outcast Jadon Sancho.
Meanwhile, Dortmund are also chasing Chelsea star Renato Veiga, but the Blues are reluctant to release him on loan, preferring a permanent deal.
Veiga, 21, joined Chelsea from Basel in the summer for £12m and can play as a full-back or centre-back but has been on the fringes of the first team.
The defender has only started once in the Premier League and even Enzo Maresca left him out of the squad for the Boxing Day match against Fulham due to a “technical” decision.
However, Veiga has been a regular in cup competitions, with the 21-year-old playing every minute of Chelsea's eight UEFA Conference League ties this season, while also featuring three times in the FA and Cup Carabao.
This included all 90 minutes of the 5-0 thrashing of League Two strugglers Morecambe on Saturday afternoon.
Wolves, Bournemouth, Stuttgart, Napoli and Juventus have also shown interest in the Portuguese international, and Veiga is open to leaving to play more regularly as a central defender.
