- West Coast Eagles reviewing shocking video footage
- Star Liam Ryan signed a contract extension last year
AFL star Liam Ryan is being investigated by his club over a shocking video allegedly showing him in a street fight recently.
The clip, which appeared online on Wednesday night, allegedly shows the West Coast Eagles striker getting into a fistfight with another man as a crowd of onlookers scream.
The images were reportedly taken after a recent music festival.
In it, a man in a white t-shirt who appears to be Ryan is seen exchanging blows with a shirtless man.
“The West Coast Eagles are aware of an incident involving AFL player Liam Ryan in Fremantle on Wednesday night,” the club said in a statement on Friday.
'Liam and his partner Evana are safe and Liam will continue with pre-season training on Friday morning.

The alleged incident occurred just before the 28-year-old was set to help the AFL launch the jersey for next month's Indigenous All Stars match against Fremantle (pictured).
“The Club is working to gather all information, (sic) will support Liam throughout this process and will not be making any further comments at this time.”
The alleged incident occurred a day before the 28-year-old was scheduled to take part in the launch of the AFL's new Indigenous All Stars jersey.
He has been selected in the Indigenous team to play the Fremantle Dockers at Perth's Optus Stadium on February 15 in the first match featuring the all-star team since 2015.
The 10-year hiatus means a generation of players has lost the chance to represent the All Stars, and Ryan wants to see the concept played more often.
“Hopefully this continues from now on. Not every year, but every two (years),” Ryan said.
'It would be really good for communities across Australia.
'I grew up watching guys like (Adam) Goodes and Lewis Jetta, and my dream was to play a game like this. It means a lot.'
Most of the All Stars team will be made up of fast, exciting and attacking players.
“I think I'm going to have to ruck,” joked Ryan, who is 181cm tall.
'All indigenous boys know how to attack, but we don't know how to defend. It's going to be a lot of fun.'
Ryan (pictured) previously made headlines when he responded to a troll who left an embarrassing comment on a post showing a photo of his children.
Ryan lashed out at an online troll in February 2022 after he posted a vile comment on a photo of his twin children.
The adorable photo showed their children holding a Channel Seven microphone and was uploaded to the network's AFL Instagram account.
The embarrassing comment sparked a furious response from Ryan, who called out the keyboard warrior.
“Son of a bitch, if you talk about my babies like that, I'll hurt you, you damn worm,” he replied.
The comment also sparked outrage from the public, who jumped to Ryan's defense.
“That's downright disgusting, have some respect,” one fan wrote.
Another added: “Terrible comment here in reference to innocent children.”
