LeBron James made a fan cry for all the right reasons Wednesday night.
The Los Angeles Lakers sealed a 117-108 victory over the Miami Heat at the Crypto.com Arena, but James' presence alone was enough to brighten the night for one young fan.
The Lakers icon was caught making a touching postgame gesture after emotional scenes unfolded on the court earlier that night.
The 40-year-old was caught walking towards the bench during Wednesday's game when the television broadcast captured the sweet reaction of a girl sitting behind him.
The young fan, dressed in a James t-shirt, instantly burst into tears upon seeing her idol and covered her mouth in disbelief, causing her family members to burst out laughing.
James, the NBA's all-time leading point scorer, was completely oblivious to the tears developing behind him until he realized the moment at halftime.

The young woman's reaction provoked an elegant gesture from the NBA icon, who sought her out after the game.
James posed for photos with the adorable fan, who looked star-struck as she once again fought to keep the tears at bay.
“Thank God I looked at my phone at halftime, or I wouldn't have even seen the reaction when I greeted her in the first half,” James said after the game.
“I waved at her and then went back to playing.
“So having that kind of connection with someone, where you can have that kind of reaction, I think that's what it's all about.
'And I've always tried to be a role model and someone that kids can look up to.
“I try to make them proud and want to come see me play, or if they can't see me play, I hope some of the things I do off the court continue to inspire them.”
James scored 22 points in just the Lakers' second game since the devastating wildfires that devastated Los Angeles forced their home games to be postponed.

It marked the Lakers' second game after the Los Angeles wildfires postponed their schedule.
Six fires have broken out in the Los Angeles metropolitan area since last Tuesday, killing at least 25 people, displacing thousands of people and burning more than 12,000 homes and other structures.
Firefighters are still battling the Palisades Fire, which is the most destructive fire in Los Angeles history, as well as the Eaton and Hurst fires. The other three fires are now completely under control.
James and his family were forced to flee their own $23 million home in Brentwood as deadly infernos threaten the region.
James said that while the mansion was not damaged, the family is currently staying in a hotel.
“Personally, I've been bad,” James told reporters after his team beat the Heat. 'Personally, my family, we've been evacuated since Thursday night, so I've been in a hotel pretty much since we got back from Dallas. So let's just find out. But let's stay strong for each other. Obviously, that's the most important thing.”
The Lakers star said family friends had lost their homes in the fires that have ravaged the city since January 7.
'I am very happy that my family is safe, my wife, my three children, my mother, she has been here. “Everyone is safe, but he's just gone.”
