New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers has issued a “notice” of sorts to Congress ahead of a confirmation hearing for one of his friends, Robert F. Kennedy Jr.
Kennedy has been nominated by President-elect Trump to be Secretary of Health and Human Services.
This is one of the cabinet positions where the candidate nominated by the president-elect must pass a confirmation hearing and vote in order to take office.
Rodgers, who reportedly considered an offer from Kennedy to be his running mate when RFK Jr. was running for president, said on 'The Pat McAfee Show' that he was looking forward to the hearings to 'see who tried to f*** him.' '
“For example, someone trying to chase him down and seeing him wipe the floor with any of these senators,” Rodgers said.
'You better come prepared, senators, come prepared and try to see if you can fool my son, Bobby, because Bobby is fucking smart, man.

“And no note, improvised, can handle his quite well, I'm so excited for him to do it…and honestly, everyone should.”
Kennedy has promoted a number of health measures considered controversial by members of both major political parties, such as plans to defluoridate the water supply, spread misinformation about multiple vaccines, and tout the benefits of raw milk. It's part of his so-called “Make America Healthy Again” initiative.
Rodgers addressed that, especially in the wake of a Food and Drug Administration plan to ban red food dye because of its potential cancer risks: “For example, if you spend a minute researching the ingredients in products in states compared to overseas, it's disgusting,” the star quarterback said.
'It's disgusting what they allow here, the levels they allow here, products that are terrible for you, products that they know are carcinogenic.
“So you'll be doing everyone a service if you just drop it and get out of the way and stop trying to label it whatever they want to label it these days.”
“He just wants to make sure that everything our kids are given is safe, that everything we ingest every day is safe, and he's either going to 'make America healthy again' or he's going to go crazy.” dies trying.'
No confirmation hearing has yet been set for Kennedy as Congress prepares to begin a second Trump presidency.
Rodgers finished his first full season with the Jets weeks ago. He started every game and New York finished 5-12, once again missing the playoffs.
