The Miami Dolphins will be the 'home' team when the NFL plays its first game in Spain next season.

The historic Madrid match will take place at the Santiago Bernabéu, home of football giant Real Madrid.

The Dolphins' opponents have yet to be confirmed, but it marks the latest step in the NFL's global expansion.

Starting with the 2025 season, up to eight regular season games can be played outside the United States.

London's Tottenham Hotspur Stadium will host two, with the New York Jets and Cleveland Browns confirmed as 'home' teams.
