Mavericks star Kyrie Irving left NBA fans divided on Friday night when he interrupted a pregame livestream to make an unexpected request.
Paris Lawson and Royce Young were watching the Thunder's matchup in Dallas on FanDuel Sports Network, with the pair positioned near the rim where Irving and his teammates were warming up.
And the point guard took it upon himself to get some extra space for his team while asking Lawson and Young to move around a bit live in the air.
The pair agreed to Irving's request to move on, although they did not move much, before the player thanked them.
Young appeared to be upset with Irving's interruption as he looked over his shoulder toward the basket.
The eight-time All-Star's question divided opinions among fans, as some criticized him for intervening in the live shot.

Young seemed upset by Irving's interruption before Friday night's game.
Irving had 25 points, five rebounds and five assists in a 106-98 win over OKC.

However, others believed that Irving had every right to ask Lawson and Young to move out.
'He shouldn't be on the court, not even a little bit,' said one wrote.
'It's crazy how they're still trying to vilify Kyrie. He was being respectful,' a second saying.
Others pointed out how such requests have happened before, including when Chris Paul, aHe asked a journalist to come closer while playing for the Rockets.
Irving had a strong game, scoring 25 points and Dallas cruised to a 106-98 victory.
