Matthew Stafford hints at retirement after Rams lose to Eagles



Matthew Stafford suggested retirement is a possibility after the Rams' 28-22 loss to the Eagles in the divisional round on Sunday.

The quarterback, 36, was noncommittal when asked about his future with the franchise.

“As far as my future is concerned, there are 30 minutes left until the last game, so I will take some time to think about it,” he said. told reporters. “But I feel like I was playing pretty well.”

Stafford was then asked if he had “good football” left in him, to which he responded affirmatively.

“I'm sure you'd like it that way,” he said.
