Hurts suffered an apparent knee injury during the third quarter when he was caught by a pair of Rams defenders, with his leg trapped underneath, and entered the medical tent to be examined.
And while he was able to return and help Philadelphia close out a 28-22 victory, he didn't talk about his health after the game.
“I'm sure they'll ask me about this later, I don't know if I can answer it now,” Hurts said when NBC's Melissa Stark asked How the injury will affect you in the future.
“But I'm going to enjoy this victory with my teammates.”
Stark then asked if Hurts was okay and the quarterback remained tight-lipped.
Jalen Hurts was coy about his injury after the game, with the NFC Championship a week away.
Hurts returned to the game but was sacked in the end zone for a safety and appeared limited.
“I finished the game,” he said.
In a post-match press conference, Hurts again declined to provide details about the injury to reporters, although he returned to the game with a brace.
On Hurts' first play, he was sacked for a safety and the Rams cut the hosts' lead to just one point.
With their quarterback seemingly limited, the Eagles relied on their running game for the rest of the game, and Saquon Barkley came up big with a 78-yard touchdown run late in the fourth quarter to give Philadelphia a two-possession lead.
Hurts attempted only three passes after his injury.
Barkley then criticized the nature of the tackle that caused Hurts' injury.
“Personally I think, especially on that trip, there were little cheap shots,” he said. told reporters. 'They were approaching it a certain way. But when you have two times you play with us and every time we put up more than 250, that's what you expect. But I think Jalen came out and was the warrior that he is, went out and fought for us, and we got the win.'
Hurts now has a week to recover in time for the NFC Championship Game against the Commanders next Sunday afternoon.
