Carlo Ancelotti has decided not to continue as coach of Real Madrid beyond the end of the season, according to reports in Spain.
The Italian, who has been in charge of the European giants for six seasons over two spells, has a contract that runs until 2026 but reportedly wants to leave the Bernabeu at the end of the term, regardless of the team's achievements.
Ancelotti renewed his contract in December 2023 when rumors circulated about a historic move to the Brazilian national team.
The 65-year-old has since added a LaLiga title and a Champions League to his extraordinary list of achievements in the Spanish capital.
