Mohamed Salah, another contract clue after reaching a memorable milestone in Liverpool's victory over Lille.

The Reds recorded a 2-1 victory over the French team at Anfield to book their place in the next round of the Champions League.

Asked if he would stay at Liverpool to add to his impressive tally, with his contract expiring in the summer, Salah replied: “I'm not sure about that, but I'll do my best.”

The 32-year-old is now joint ninth with Thierry Henry in the competition's all-time table with 51 goals, having scored 45 of them for Liverpool, one for Roma and five for Basel.

Speaking about his goal, Salah added: “We got the ball and Curtis (Jones) finally played very well and I managed to score.

“They didn't disconnect, but they went on the counterattack and managed to score. A clean sheet is very important for us and our defense.”

Liverpool remain leaders of the Champions League group stage and only need a point from their last game against PSV to finish first.
