Donald Trumpis angry at the bishop who delivered a controversial sermon the day after his inauguration, calling her a radical “Trump hater” and demanding an apology from her church.
The President of the United States went to Truth Social early Wednesday morning to criticize Marianne Budde — the Bishop of Washington, who gave a speech at the Washington National Cathedral on Tuesday morning, imploring the president to show mercy to immigrants and LGBTQ+ people in the country.
Trump writes that Budde is a “radical left-wing hardline Trump hater” who dragged her church into politics… and he straight up calls her evil, unconvincing and unwise.
In the post on the platform he owns, POTUS acknowledges that Budde mentioned immigrants…but accuses her of saying nothing about the crimes they allegedly committed – and he claims the US is in the middle in a massive crime wave.

In addition to the “inappropriate statement,” Trump says he's downright bored by Budde's speech… and ends his message by demanding an apology from her church.
As we told you… Mariann gave the unpleasant sermon Tuesday – all while President Trump, Vice President JD VanceFirst lady Melania TrumpFirst daughter Tiffany Trumpand daughter-in-law Lara stared at her with sharp eyes.

Some Republican lawmakers have also blasted Budde — like the Georgia congressman Mike Collinswho wrote on X that Budde should be put on the “deportation list”.
This seems like some kind of joke… because Budde was born in New Jersey in 1959 – and, as far as we can tell, is still an American citizen.

Trump has already signed a number of executive orders focused on immigration and LGBTQ+ issues – including one ending birthright rights and another that federally recognizes only two genders… male and female.
He signed the order before Tuesday's sermon … but apparently Budde's words aren't making President Trump reconsider his policies.
