Pacific Palisades, a celebrity neighborhood in Los Angeles, is on fire – a fast-spreading wildfire has residents panicking as they try to get to safety, but traffic is backed up on every street.
The devastating fire broke out around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday and flames spread to more than 200 acres just over an hour later…according to an LAFD spokesperson Eric Scott.

Due to the increasing wildfires, many in the area are being advised to either leave as quickly as possible or at least prepare to evacuate. It's unclear if any homes have gone up in flames yet, but we received video of at least one burned vehicle on a main road in the affluent area.
Still, the fire – which is visible from across LA's west side – is causing concern among area residents, including the actor James Woodswho filmed the growing inferno from his Pacific Palisades estate.
Check it out… James informs his social media followers that firefighters are dousing the area with water as he stands in his driveway ready to evacuate.

However, it appears the water isn't doing much to put out the flames, and wind gusts approaching 100 miles per hour aren't helping either. James was still recording as the fire crept closer and closer to his neighbor's house.
