Justin Baldoni's accusation Ryan Reynolds To have him insulted and yelled at in an ambush meeting in a house full of stars is way over the top…this according to a source who attended the meeting.
Baldoni made several allegations against it Blake Lively and husband RR in a $250 million lawsuit against The New York Times … claiming the “Deadpool” star was aggressive toward JB at a meeting held at the couple's New York home, while celeb friends came and went.
Our source tells TMZ … the meeting fell through last January because production on “It Ends With Us” was set to resume after being stalled by industry strikes … and everyone in attendance knew Baldoni's alleged behavior would be addressed … So there was no blindsidering whatsoever.
The source says that RR didn't yell and swear at JB, although the source admits he was “angry and stern,” adding that Reynolds used “passionate” language, but it didn't rise to the level of yelling or swearing have.
Baldoni said in his lawsuit that the encounter with Reynolds was “traumatic” and that he had “never been spoken to like that in his life.”

The source also took issue with the way the meeting was described in the lawsuit…particularly the mention of the penthouse where other stars happened to be staying. The meeting took place at Reynolds and Lively's home, but according to our source, no other celebrities came and went.
Baldoni is not alone sued the Times … he is one of 10 plaintiffs, including publicists Melissa Nathan And Jennifer Abelwhich were detailed in Lively's initial complaint and in the newspaper's article.
Lively has filed a lawsuit He made a formal demand for money and sued Baldoni and others – including the publicists – for mental pain and anguish, severe emotional distress and lost wages.
Baldoni's lawyer, Bryan Freedmanhad previously harshly criticized Lively's claims, saying they were intended to “enhance her negative reputation,” adding that the claims were “false, outrageous and deliberately salacious with the intent to publicly offend.”
We reached out to Freedman for comment on the recent pushback…no response yet.
