The NFL legend Antonio Gates praised Travis Kelce as a gold standard for closed wings ahead of the three -mob of the Chiefs against Philadelphia in the Super Bowl on Sunday.
Kansas City is a victory to make history in the NFL, since no team has successfully won three consecutive titles.
Although Kelce has not had the most exciting regular season, his closed wing gave him his flowers while preparing to win his fourth professional championship.
Speaking to Dailymail.com in New Orleans, Gates got excited about Kelce's consistency and greatness.
“You talk about the great word, you talk about consistency,” he said. 'You talk about a guy who can do the same again and again. When you talk about the word great, you talk about a guy who when he goes to the field must be counted.
“A guy you can trust,” Gates added. 'Trust the third Down, trust the red zone, trust plays. That is what I see when I see him play.

Gates praised Kelce to move the position in the right direction and establish a good standard
'I see that he still pushes the position in the right direction. He has been establishing the standard in this league for a while and I am happy for him.
“Hopefully, he is still in the right direction, and who comes, either George Kittle or whoever, continues to press the position.”
While Gates was bathing Kelce with compliments, he claims to be betting on 'Against History' while putting on the side of the Eagles to spoil the party largely.
“I'm betting on history,” Gates said. 'I don't think they can win three of four. As for statistics, it is proven that it is the most difficult thing I could do.
“Apart from that, I obtained ties with the eagles,” he continued. 'I think Philadelphia has a complete team. I think Kansas City has the greatest number of clutch artists.
'But I think with Saquon and Jalen, that line D, that high school, probably obtained one of the best defenses in football, but obtained one of the best football games … those are the ingredients to win this type of games . '
