Chelsea remains without a victory far in 2025 after blowing a 1-0 advantage to lose 2-1 in Aston Villa on Saturday night.
The fourth goal of the Enzo Fernández season fired Chelsea in front after only nine minutes.
But Villa was leveled in the second half when Marcus Rashford established other mid -season loans that signed Marco Asensio for a messy draw.
Asensio then hit the winner, again from a rashford assistance, in the 89th minute when the Chelsea goalkeeper, Filip Jorgensen, could not regulate.
Rashford has started the game at the bank, before Unai Emery brought it to the half time.
Chelsea has now lost three games in a row, with Saturday's game after Brighton's consecutive defeats.
