Aston Villa has confirmed the firm of Marco Asensio of the French champions PSG on loan until the end of the season.
The 29 -year -old International is currently under contract with the Parisians until June 2026. He has been at the PSG since July 2023 when he arrived from Real Madrid.
There is no option to buy in the agreement and villa will supposedly cover the salaries of Asensio.
The manager of Villa, Unai Emery, has been desperate to reinforce his attack after the heading of the top scorer Jhon last to Nassr for £ 65 million.
The club brought forward Man United Marcus Rashford on loan on Sunday night and now have secured Asensio.
It becomes the fourth firm of the Villa of the Winter Transfer Window after Rashford, Donyell Malen and Andrés García.

The three -time winner of the Asensio Champions League has scored seven goals in 47 appearances for the PSG, having scored 61 times in 286 departures for Real Madrid.
Asensio could make his debut in Villa with Rashford against Tottenham in the fourth round of the FA Cup on Sunday.
After the 2-0 defeat on Saturday night of Wolves, Unai Emery insisted that his team needed to add addition before the winter transfer window was closed and wish it has been granted.
“We need some players,” Post Match told BBC. 'We need to replace some players who left. Tomorrow and Monday are the last two days.
“I think we will get some players to help us because we are in the Champions League the last 16. We have to try to get points in the Premier League to be between eight, seven, six, five, five.”
