The secret sporting talent of Australian cricket star Beau Webster, who was also a promising AFL player as a youngster, has been revealed.

Webster, 31, impressed on his Test debut against India, taking a crucial wicket, two catches in the first innings, plundering a half-century before hitting the winning runs as Pat Cummins' men sealed a series win by 3 -1 at the SCG.

Daily Mail Australia has uncovered footage of Webster showing off his skills with a Sherrin.

In the 2011 vision, an imposing Webster can be seen collecting a loose ball, before taking down a defender with ease and kicking a goal from distance.

It developed into a Colts Grand Final, where Webster's Kingborough Tigers beat the Dodges Ferry Sharks.

Meanwhile, the man affectionately known as 'Slug' has confirmed who his teammate he partied with the most in Sydney is: cult hero Travis Head.

“The celebrations were good,” Webster told the Sydney Morning Herald.

'We had a few beers in the SCG members bar. It was a great week and culminated in a brilliant night.

'Trav is always good (for a night out). He and I were going relatively hard on the beers. I was a little rude (the next day), as I think some of the guys were.

'It was a really good night sitting in white clothes talking to the boys about all things life. “It was really special.”

Webster also confirmed he is a Collingwood supporter but will pitch for the Magpies once the Tasmanian Devils join the AFL competition in 2028.

“I'm a big fan of Collingwood, I love my Pies,” he said after the fifth test.

“But I think when the Tassie Devils come in a few years, I'll jump ship.”

The towering all-rounder is also hoping to be named in the Australian squad ahead of the tour of Sri Lanka, with the first Test in Galle starting on January 29.
