The Baltimore Ravens have taken a big hit heading into the playoffs, and star receiver Zay Flowers is expected to miss this weekend's wild-card clash against the Steelers.

The 24-year-old suffered a knee injury in Baltimore's Week 18 game against the Browns, and initial reports claimed he had suffered a sprain.

The Ravens were hopeful that Flowers could return in time for this week's game, and head coach John Harbaugh insisted that “this was not a season-ending injury.”

But, according to the NFL Networkthe Pro Bowl receiver has a “long shot” of playing against Pittsburgh at M&T Bank Stadium.

He didn't participate in Tuesday's practice and is more likely to return for the divisional round, should the Ravens make it that far.

“It's just going to be day by day, trying to do everything we can to get back as soon as possible,” Harbaugh said Monday. “And we'll see where that takes us.”
