Barcelona were given temporary permission to register Dani Olmo after lodging an appeal, but the star was not even named on the bench for the Spanish Super Cup semi-final on Wednesday night.
Barcelona has received a precautionary measure from the Higher Sports Council (CSD) that has allowed it to temporarily register both Olmo, a target for several Premier League teams, and Pau Víctor.
Both players will be able to play again in LaLiga after several weeks of uncertainty.
Olmo and Víctor have been included in Barcelona's Super Cup squad despite not being eligible to play, but the two were not named in the starting eleven or among the substitutes for their semi-final against Athletic Club.
Last week, Barcelona revealed their plans to file a complaint after both LaLiga and the Spanish Football Federation (RFEF) rejected their latest attempt to re-register the duo, subsequently taking the matter to court.
The latest sentence, which will relieve the pressure on president Joan Laporta after another turbulent period.

Now, the agency has a period of up to three months to study the case before issuing a final ruling. Meanwhile, Olmo and Víctor will be able to play normally.
On Tuesday, Barcelona striker Raphinha warned that the saga surrounding Olmo's re-registration issues could deter future transfer targets from joining.
“I can't say otherwise because I would lie otherwise,” Raphinha added.
Olmo joined Hansi Flick's side from RB Leipzig last summer in a deal worth £50m, but was only able to register on a temporary deal until the end of 2024, due to LaLiga's strict financial restrictions on Barcelona.
The Catalan giants had been trying to re-register the playmaker to make him available for selection beyond December 31, but encountered several obstacles.
Indeed, LaLiga issued a statement on New Year's Eve confirming that they had rejected the club's proposal, raising the possibility that Olmo could leave on a free transfer.
