Ben AffleckThe Los Angeles block has been a hotbed for authority figures of all kinds lately… as the military is now hanging outside his home in Westside, LA – days after cops and FBI agents were seen amid wildfires in the area around the house.
The actor was photographed arriving home on Thursday … and parked right in front of his house was a sand-colored military Humvee – equipped with a turret that could mount a large machine gun if necessary.
Check out the pictures… Ben drives by as if nothing was out of the ordinary – even though there's a man in uniform standing outside the vehicle in BA's affluent area.
Of note… we didn't see Ben interacting with anyone outside of his Brentwood home – so it doesn't look like Uncle Sam is attacking the movie star himself.
The National Guard was deployed last week to assist with the Pacific Palisades wildfire, which has burned more than 23,000 acres of land and destroyed entire neighborhoods in Palisades and Malibu.
As you know… Ben's street has been full of unexpected visitors these past few days. We told you earlier this week FBI agents visited Ben's house to investigate a drone that collided with a firefighting plane.
According to our sources, Ben is not the subject of an FBI investigation, so he appears to be in no legal danger.
A few days later, photographers spotted Ben in the middle of one tense conversation with cops… and it appears that Ben was talking about private security guards giving him a hard time as he entered and exited the neighborhood.
The FBI, the police and now the military… Ben might want to be on the lookout because the CIA might be next!
