Joe Burrow's head slammed into the turf after the Bengals quarterback was sacked in a worrying moment against the Steelers.

During the third quarter of Saturday's matchup, Burrow was caught by two Steelers defenders with a huge piece of grass lodged in the crown of his helmet.

He was thrown to the ground and his head hit the grass first. The quarterback did not immediately get up and received medical attention before heading to the store.

Finally, Burrow ran off the field under his own power and headed straight for the blue medical tent.

After a few moments in the tent and being checked for a concussion, Burrow was cleared and allowed to return to the game.

Burrow now missed all game action as the terrifying moment occurred on third down, with the Bengals punting the ball on the next play.
