A week before Super Bowl Lix, Bill Belichick has suggested an impressive gesture that involves the NFL championship game in Tom Brady's honor.
The couple won six Super Bowls together while they formed a dynasty in New England, while Brady picked up another ring with the Bucs and Belichick also won two as a defensive coordinator of the giants.
And although the championship trophy is currently named in honor of the legendary coach Vince Lombardi, who won the first two Super Bowls with the Packers, Belichick has suggested to name him after Brady.
Speaking in him Podcast 'let's go' with host Jim GrayBelichick said it is “impossible” to win without good players.
“You have to have good players and, as a coach, you want to give your players the opportunity to win,” he said. 'You want to put them in a position where if they go out and play well, they will have the opportunity to win. That is what the coach (Bill) Parcells taught me, is there always a way to win? You just have to find out what it is, and you have to give the players a chance.
Gray replied that “the Starr trophy does not name him,” referring to Bart Starr, who Mariscal de Campo the winning teams of the Lombardi Super Bowl.
