Bill Maher Went on Friday evening a rant that started looking at football, but boy … this is a metaphor for something that is much bigger!
This is one of the best editorials that the host “real time” has delivered for a long time. BM is angry with streamers who play football games. It is true … now, instead of just pressing a button on the remote control to go back and forth between the games, it is now a huge pain in the ass. We also have to look at commercials, so exactly what is the advantage?
Bill says it is an example of what he calls Ri – reverse improvement. It's like going to a restaurant and leaving your car with the parking service. It used to be so easy, give him the ticket, pay in cash and get your whip. Well … now you know?
And then Bill extends to something bigger – the Silicon Valley, whose motto is: “If it is not broken, F *** with it!”
You have to see and hear his example – car door handles. That doesn't sound funny, but trust us … it's funny strange !!!
