Bomb-making materials have been found at a burned-out Airbnb property linked to the terrorist attack in New Orleans on New Year's Eve… hours after 14 people were killed by a speeding truck in the popular French Quarter tourist district.
A fire was reported at an Airbnb in New Orleans early Wednesday…hours after the New Year's Eve attack on Bourbon Street. Firefighters responded at 5:30 a.m. Wednesday and the area was immediately evacuated – and the ATF was called to the scene. Bomb-sniffing dogs were seen searching the property.
Fox 8 in New Orleans was the first to report that bomb-making materials had been found.
The FBI retracted its theory that others were involved in the attack, saying it now has no evidence to support it. They had previously stated that three men and one woman were involved.
Three blocks around the home on Mandeville Street in the Marigny neighborhood — about 3 miles (5 kilometers) from the Bourbon Street crime scene — were cordoned off while investigators collected evidence.

According to the FBI, the 42-year-old committed a terrorist attack – after the attack, an ISIS flag and an improvised explosive device were found in the truck.
Officials say three phones and two laptops linked to Jabbar were recovered. At least two other IEDs were found in refrigerators at an intersection on Bourbon Street and at another location two blocks away – both were “functional,” and surveillance videos show they had been planted there by Jabbar.
