The veteran boxer who knocked out Lennox Lewis in 1994 has returned to the ring to win his fight through early care on Tuesday.
At 59, Oliver McCall became the former oldest heavyweight champion to win a professional boxing match in November 2024.
Despite his age, he returned to the ring in Nashville, USA, for a fight against the American Gary Cobia, 52, who has a professional record of three victories and four losses.
After a first dominant round, McCall, with a total of 77 fighting throughout his career, was declared winner when his opponent refused to continue the fight.
This has marked his 61st professional boxing victory, while 40 of them were for knockouts.
McCall returned to the ring after a five -year pause and returned with a dominant victory over Stacy Frazier in November 2024.

A few days after the controversial fight between Jake Paul and the heavyweight star Mike Tyson, McCall called the 28 -year -old in his interview after the fight.
He said: “I want to take revenge for Nate Robinson and then for what he has done to Mike Tyson, that would be incredible.”
The veteran made his professional debut in 1985 with a victory over Lou Bailey, nine years before winning the heavyweight title against the legend of British boxing Lennox Lewis.
After a first competitive round, won by Lewis in the punctuation boxes, McCall began aggressively the second and dropped his opponent to the canvas.
The referee José Guadalupe García had to stop the fight and declare the new CMB heavyweight champion.
A frustrated lewis then said: 'They stole me totally. I was authorized to fight.
However, referee García defended his position by saying: 'I am absolutely sure of what I did. Lennox Lewis was knocked out.
“Allowing more blows in Lewis could have had fatal consequences.”
