The defender of the Premier League of Collingwood, Brayden Maynard, escaped from his latest car accident and is expected to play in the clash of Saturday night with Port Adelaide in the MCG.

The URACAS confirmed that Maynard was involved in an accident of two cars in Brighton on Friday morning, marking its second car accident in the 14 -month space.

“Fortunately, neither Brayden nor the passengers in the other vehicle were injured in the accident,” said Collingwood General Football Charlie Gardiner in a statement.

“Talking to Brayden this morning, this was an unfortunate accident, but fortunately he and the other driver and passenger were fine.”

According to the reports, the witnesses in the accident scene said it was “scary” when the football star car hit the UTE.

Both vehicles have been described as “beaten.”

Maynard lost a training session in January 2024, after being involved in a car accident on the Mornington Peninsula Highway.

No one was injured in that accident.

Maynard has played 210 games since the AFL debuted in 2015.

The 28 -year -old was a key figure in the Premier League campaign of Collingwood.
