Liverpool are the best team in the world and a big favorite to win the Premier League title, according to Brentford manager Thomas Frank.
Dane's Bees fought valiantly against Arne Slot's team, but were ultimately defeated by two goals from Darwin Nunez in added time.
And Frank said: “We've just played Manchester City, Arsenal and now Liverpool in a short space of time.”
“For me they are a level above the other two teams. They are complete. It is the best team in the Premier League and in the world. “They are big favorites to win it.”
Núñez's goals came with Liverpool's 36th and 37th shots on a frustrating afternoon, with goalkeeper Alisson saying: “It took him a long time to score one goal and for the second, it didn't take long!”
“He is a class player, with a lot of quality. He is important for the team and I hope that today brings him confidence.”

Darwin Nunez scored a brace in added time to give Liverpool a vital victory at Brentford.
Meanwhile, Slot praised the Uruguayan striker, commenting bbc: 'He always has a big impact when he comes in. Provides energy and power.
“Most of our games are in the last half hour with control around 18 yards, and that's where he's at his best.” The first hour is usually open, but the last 30 minutes dominate. So it's good to have someone like Darwin.
'I don't just look at the results. We create a lot. But now it's a win, so I don't have to say look at our performance. I was very satisfied with our performance.
Brentford made a fight out of this. They have good players and a good game plan. “It was a nice game to watch, like every time Liverpool are on the pitch.”
