British tennis star Katie Boulter showed off her stunning diamond engagement ring while out for a walk with her new Australian fiancé Alex de Minaur.

The tennis power couple, who have been dating since 2022, appeared to be enjoying some quality time together in Melbourne on Saturday ahead of the upcoming Australian Open.

Boulter, dressed all in green, happily showed off her huge diamond ring as the couple was photographed on a morning walk.

The 28-year-old announced on social media last month that she had become engaged to her long-term boyfriend and world number 9, De Minaur.

Boulter and De Minaur thrilled their fans with an Instagram snap in which the Brit had her left arm around her 25-year-old boyfriend's neck, revealing that she was wearing a stunning engagement ring on her ring finger.

They captioned the post: “We've been keeping a little secret…”

Having initially met on the professional tennis circuit, the pair ran into each other over coffee at 6am.

It was here that their relationship blossomed and Boulter admitted that it was then that she knew he was the one.

“We met at six in the morning and ended up having coffee. From that moment on, I knew I was in this for the long haul,” Boulter had previously told The Age.

Both enjoyed excellent 2024 seasons on the WTA and ATP Tours with Boulter winning titles in Nottingham and San Diego.

De Minaur finished his year with a big victory at the Ultimate Tennis Showdown, bouncing back from his disappointing ATP Finals in Turin, where he failed to win a match.

And Boulter is certainly in fine form having booked Great Britain's place in the United Cup quarter-finals with a win over Australia's Olivia Gadecki last week.

Boulter duly delivered with a dominant 6-2 6-1 victory against 97th-ranked Gadecki in Sydney.

The tie pitted the newly engaged Boulter against her fiancé Alex De Minaur, who is Australia's number one player, and she said in her on-court interview: “I'm very happy to start my new year like this.”

“I feel like I've lost a lot of sleep recently at the thought of playing against my fiancé in doubles, so I'm very tired and very happy to have passed this test.

De Minaur said last week that he feels back to his best after suffering a hip injury in his breakout 2024 season, suffered during his run at Wimbledon in July.

“It's definitely the best I've felt since Wimbledon,” de Minaur said on Saturday.

'I'm very happy with how the body moves, how it feels.

“It's been a long time coming, but he feels in the best shape he's been in in a long, long time.”

The Australian Open starts on January 12.
