Bruce Willis thanks first responders in Los Angeles after wildfires hit the city hard… and he makes extremely rare public appearances.
The actor's wife, Emma HemmingI just shared a video of Bruce shaking hands and chatting with some LAPD officers on the streets of LA
After his dementia diagnosis, Bruce is rarely seen in public these days. His wife and kids occasionally share photos of him at family gatherings, but we don't really see him outside anymore.
In the black and white video, Bruce wears a New York Yankees shirt, jacket and hat as he chats with a few police officers and shakes their hands… and then takes a few photos with the officers.
Bruce's wife says… “When Bruce spotted a first responder, he never missed an opportunity to show his gratitude with a warm handshake and a 'thank you for your service.'” Yesterday was no different.
BW retired from acting in March 2022 when his family made the announcement grueling battle against dementia.
It's pretty cool to see Bruce take on the police… considering he plays an NYPD officer in Die Hard.
